The Dubliner Restaurant

It&#39;s a nice American-style shop. The American coffee tastes good. The meatballs are delicious and mixed with vegetables. They don&#39;t taste greasy. The noodles are okay.

This restaurant is called Bistro Bis, and it is quite famous locally. The environment of this restaurant is pretty good, and it is also a relatively traditional Western restaurant. I ordered a medium-rare steak.

Leaving DC to catch a train after morning meetings I needed something quick to eat....McDonald&#39;s fit that bill. I placed my order and was able to get the 2 for $2.00 deal; I was unaware of it but the cashier automatically applied it. I ordered a McDouble and decided to try the mozzarella sticks. Even though they were crazy busy they were turning out the orders very quickly; I had my food in about 2 minutes. Grabbing my bag and heading for my train I was worried that everything would be cold by the time I was able to eat. I was pleasantly surprised when everything was still hot. The burger was made the way I ordered it and very good. Even though the mozzarella stick order is 3 small sticks and there was no sauce, they were very tasty, and yes, they did have cheese. I was very happy with the speed of service and my food, so when I&#39;m back in DC I&#39;m coming back to this McDonald&#39;s.

Neat place, very authentic and they do know how to build a proper Guinness; but it took forever to get it as the staff seemed to be lackadaisical about service and management was unfocused.  The waitress was apparently at the end of her shift and was more interested in clocking out and then drinking with the customer at the bar. I have been told that this is never a good practice to let employees drink where they work and I see why. That being said let’s talk about the food. It is on point and if I was reviewing just the food this would be four stars. The fried Brussels were good, but the corn beef and cabbage was divine. Well done Chef!

Mixed Bag

The Shepard pie and guinnes was the perfect pairing.   The placeceas crowded and a long wait but definitely worth the experience.   Come hungry and thirsty.  The ambience was really good.  Lots of chatter.    Make it a stop

Great Experience

Great atmosphere for an older and younger crowd.  The potato soup is out of this world! It&apos;s quaint, cozy & offers live bands.

Even the staff looks Irish

Had a reservation. but did not honor it. Wanted to sit out side, but did not consider it.  Really the only thing I ate that day and was horribly sick that night.

Pass

Walking around downtown we figured we’d give it a shot. Menu was stacked with someone for everyone.  We had the salad, couple of sandwiches and a massive chicken pie. Everything was good minus the salad. Why did I order a salad in a pub, why?   😂
